Peak First Aid makes the highest quality first aid kits available for climbers, skiers, bikers, and everyone who explores the backcountry. Every kit is made with the highest quality components from the smallest piece to the pouch itself.
From our facility in Colorado, every kit is hand packed to ensure that your kit is ready for your adventures in the mountains. Peak First Aid Kits have been tested in the harshest conditions on the highest peaks and deepest canyons of Colorado.
We believe in doing good. Every kit sold equals a $2 donation to underfunded search and rescue teams. Plus, our pouches and packaging are made from postconsumer recycled materials. We offset carbon emissions using verified nature based offsets.
Protect yourself and your adventure partners by upgrading your first aid kit to a Peak First Aid kit.
Meet the Founder
Hi I'm Grant, the founder of Peak First Aid. For years, I carried no first aid supplies in the backcountry. After a few close calls I knew that had to change. I was disappointed with the first aid kits on the market, so I built my own from the ground up. The first prototype prioritized an ultralight design with an emphasis on treating more serious injuries and bleeds. After a climbing accident in Yosemite National Park, I was inspired to help make sure everyone heading into the backcountry had access to quality first aid kits. My goal is to inspire you to enjoy the backcountry without compromising safety. Join me in Exploring, Confidently.
FAQ
Is this product Sustainable?
Sustainability was built into Peak First Aid from day one. If we are going to cherish the outdoors for generations to come, even small products like first aid supplies need to be sustainable.
- Shipping: We only ship with carbon efficient ground shipping and have partnered with EcoEnclose to ship products in innovative curbside recyclable padded mailers made from upcycled newspaper waste.
- Carbon Offsets: At the end of the year, Peak First Aid calculates carbon emissions that cannot be reduced and offsets them using verified nature based projects.
- Materials: When possible, we source materials made in the USA and prioritize quality and durability. The Peak First Aid pouch is made from 100% recycled fabrics and uses a non-toxic DWR coating!
You support Search and Rescue?
Search and rescue is a critical part of being able to Explore, Confidently. We believe in the importance of well trained and equipped search and rescue. Many volunteer teams across the country lack the gear and training resources to effectively respond to missions for lost, injured, and deceased parties in the backcountry.
For every kit sold, we contribute $2 to a search and rescue fund. At the end of the each quarter, we choose an underfunded volunteer SAR team in the United States to award the donation to.
